AI Enablement Session – Strategic Insights for Launching an Effective AI Roadmap
Recent findings from the 9th edition of the IT Trends underscore the growing imperative for digital transformation: 81% of Canadian companies plan to make significant technology investments within the next two years, with nearly one-third prioritizing artificial intelligence initiatives. In response to this accelerating demand, our sister company NOVIPRO, in partnership with Videns, hosted an exclusive AI-focused training session on May 22 at the Honeyrose Hotel in Montreal.
This two-hour interactive conference brought together approximately twenty professionals from diverse industries, all seeking to better understand how to implement AI within their organizations in a structured, actionable, and business-driven manner.
Presented by Martin Pelletier (Chief of Strategic Initiatives at NOVIPRO Group) and Sarah Legendre Bilodeau (Associate and CEO of Videns), the session offered participants a high-level strategic view of AI adoption—balancing vision with actionable insights. Sarah provided tangible examples and implementation advice drawn from real-world deployments, equipping attendees with a pragmatic approach to launching AI-driven initiatives.
Identifying high-impact business areas to achieve early wins
Prioritizing the right technologies based on organizational digital maturity
Anticipating implementation hurdles, including governance, change management, and upskilling
Establishing meaningful performance metrics to validate AI’s business value
Leveraging expert partners to accelerate time-to-value and ensure long-term success
Insights from the 2025 IT Trends Report highlight the growing momentum behind AI initiatives:
32% of organizations plan to invest in artificial intelligence within the next two years
Fewer than 10% currently consider themselves advanced in their AI maturity
The primary barriers to adoption include:
Lack of in-house expertise (44%)
Limited understanding of practical use cases (35%)
Data quality and availability challenges (29%)
These findings underscore the need for immediate, informed action to stay competitive and ensure long-term success in an AI-driven economy.
A Setting Designed for Open Dialogue
In addition to the practical insights shared, participants appreciated the collaborative and engaging environment. The small-group format encouraged meaningful exchanges, with direct access to subject-matter experts for case-specific discussions. The session concluded with a networking luncheon, offering attendees a relaxed setting to continue conversations, deepen professional connections, and explore tailored questions with AI practitioners.
We look forward to welcoming you back in 2026 for an even more impactful and forward-looking edition!
Thanks to everyone who participated in this valuable training session and to our partner Videns for their expertise.
